 Program Policies

For 3rd-6th grade.  The ASE programs run from 3:25 until 4:55 PM for 4 weeks at a time. 

The cost is $30 per child per program, monthly. 

You will receive an e-mail from the instructor once the class has filled with more information.

Percussion!

Having fun with drums! Develop your rhythm and overall musicianship through creativity, fun, and the great outlet of playing the drums, shakers, and other percussion instruments. See how music education can improve motivation, self-confidence, and overall achievement.

 

Program Policies

Snack

The ASE program will not provide snacks for the children, due to the severity of allergies etc. There will be some time set aside each day for snack, please ensure you send your child with an extra snack and a reminder to save it for the ASE program at the end of the day. Please avoid all snacks with peanut butter. 

 

Behavior 

ASE is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all children in the program. No bullying of any means will be tolerated and will result in dismissal from the program with no refund. 

Safety

I do hereby hold free Full STEAM Ahead and its respective directors, coaches, volunteers, supervisors, and sponsors from all and any liability, rights and claims for damages which may arise out of the child’s participation in Full STEAM Ahead activities. In case of an emergency and the parents/guardians of the child named above cannot be contacts, I authorize Full STEAM Ahead and their representatives to contact emergency care. I understand I will be responsible for any expenses incurred on my child’s behalf in connection with such treatment.

 

Dismissal

The ASE program ends 90 minutes after school releases. It is imperative that all students be picked up on time at 4:55PM. If a parent or caregiver is more than 5 minutes late and has not notified the instructor, a late fee of $1.00 per minute will be assessed. Late fees are due at pick-up. 

If your child attends an after school program provided at the school, the ASE instructor will escort the children to the program director.

Please specify when registering your child if they will be picked up and who has authorization to pick them up OR if they will be attending the after school program. 

 

Photo Release

By participating in the ASE program I give permission for my child to be photographed for print or electronic use in promoting the ASE program. 

 

Cancellation/Refund

The ASE program does not offer refunds for cancellations UNLESS the program has a wait list.  

The ASE program will not operate when school is dismissed early for bad weather or when afterschool activities in the county are cancelled. If this happens, you will be contacted by the instructor or director, and it will be posted on our Facebook page. If school is completely closed for the day, the ASE program will also be closed. If school is cancelled due to weather the ASE program will not issue refunds we will try our best to re-schedule the program. 

If your child is quarantined we will not be able to issue a refund, however depending on the program we will send home supplies with the school.
