FLL EXPLORE Robotics

FIRST Lego League Explore robotics is an international program where kids learn to build and program legos. This program is designed for kids ages 6-10. Due to COVID, and our collaboration with the Minot State University Education Department, we are offering this program virtually this spring. 

We are forming 1 team/month for the months of February, March and April. Teams will meet twice a week for the 4 weeks. Kids should attend all meetings as they build on one another. We will checkout the equipment needed for the program (tablet, WeDo Kit, Explore lego kit) to each family. If you have more than 1 kid participating they will share the equipment. At the end of the 4 weeks we need to equipment put back into the kits(legos organized) and turned back in so the following month can use the equipment. 

All team meetings will take place on Zoom. We have 3 MSU Education students who will be coaching/leading the meetings. We highly encourage a parent/guardian to be present incase the student needs help with technology or any of the steps.
